Mina El Cardenillo (Benahavis)
Copper Mineralization with mining works dated from Roman Republican (II-I centuries BC) which represents a high-qualified engineering method to extract the ores. The mine settles along the contact zone, leucocractic gneisses with Q, Fd, sillimanite, brecciated and sheared alpine peridotites (Plagioclase Lherzolites) of the Massif de Ronda.
