Mina San Pedro (Genalguacil)

Irregular veins of copper, iron, cobalt, and nickel sulfides, bearing as gangue serpentine transformed to talc. Mineralizacion host rock is included in Garnet Lherzolites, on the outskirts of the Massif de Ronda.

Late talc mineralization and faulting generated breccias on host rock.

Origin: High-temperature magmatic sulphur segregations. These fluids were injected along fractures, where the alpine Massif of Ronda contact to kinzigite-granulitic gneis.
