Pozo San Juan (Carratraca)
Irregular veins and nickel-cobalt arsenide lenses “Rosario-shape as per miners designation” , with chromitite bands included in cordierite dykes settled on Spinel Lherzolites.
The massif has also been highly weathered thus late serpentinization process.
Origin: Phase I Orthomagmatic (chromite-pyroxene stage). Phase II High temperature hydrothermal veins, magmatic sulphur segregations related, and injections in fractured areas at Carratraca Massif. Also leucocratic acids dykes are presented.
